Workshop: 'AI, Militarism and Security'

In preparation for a special issue of the ‘Cambridge Forum on AI - Culture and Society', PLATFORM WARS' Marijn Hoijtink and her co-editor Erik Reichborn-Kjennerud are organizing a hybrid workshop in Antwerp on 16–17 June,where contributing authors will present and discuss their ideas and drafts.

In preparation for a special issue of the ‘Cambridge Forum on AI - Culture and Society', PLATFORM WARS' Marijn Hoijtink and her co-editor Erik Reichborn-Kjennerud are organizing a hybrid workshop in Antwerp on 16–17 June,where contributing authors will present and discuss their ideas and drafts.

The special issue aims to advance the ongoing sociotechnical research agenda on AI militarism, opening new avenues for understanding how AI moves across the spaces of war, security, and technology. It focuses on contributions to three main themes: AI and the epistemics of warfare; AI between warfare and the homeland; and the political economy of military AI.
